This policy explains what Vedic Kala ("we", "us") collects when you use vedickala.in, why, and your choices. We keep it minimal: we only use your details to compute and deliver your report.
1. Information we collect
To prepare your report, you provide: your name, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, gender, and email address. We do not ask for any other personal information.
2. How we use it
- To compute your astrology report from your birth details.
- To email the report to the address you provide.
- To respond to support requests you send us.
3. Payment information
Payments are processed by Razorpay. Your card/UPI/bank details are handled directly by Razorpay under their own privacy policy — we never see or store them.
4. Service providers we use
We share the minimum data necessary with trusted providers purely to deliver the service:
- Razorpay — payment processing.
- Resend — sending your report email.
- Railway / Netlify — hosting the website and report engine.
- OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) — converting your birth city into coordinates.
5. Data retention
Our report engine is stateless — we do not run a customer database. Your birth details travel with the payment record only as long as needed to generate and email your report, and are not used for any other purpose. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
6. Your rights
You may request a copy of, or deletion of, the personal data associated with your order. Email contact@vedickala.in and we will act on it.
7. Children
Reports concerning a minor must be ordered by a parent or guardian, who provides the child's birth details on the child's behalf.
8. Cookies & analytics
The site uses only the cookies necessary to function. If we add basic, privacy-respecting analytics in future, we will update this policy.
9. Security
The site and payments run over encrypted HTTPS connections. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

We may update this policy; the version on this page is the current one.
